Richmond Community Offerings

We explore topics such as infant sleep challenges, adjusting to the postpartum body and mind, traveling with a baby for the first time, returning to work, sharing birth stories (and realizing how much we all have in common) and so much more. You can receive a hug (if you need it) and get all your questions answered.

You might even make a new friend too!

By request. Get started.

When you come to one of my circles you are met with understanding and grace.

You can guarantee it will be a safe place to cry, complain, or celebrate, ask questions and get resources. You can be sleep deprived, needing to feed your baby, in yesterday’s pajamas or covered in spit up. Truly, all things go. When I say come as you are, I mean it.

I love connecting with mamas while helping them connect to other mamas. I absolutely love watching moms take care of other moms and seeing how your unique story with your baby unfolds month to month. Some days the circle is intimate, other days we run out of seats.

Each time, however, the circle is meaningful.

New Parents Meet Up

Whole Heart Space

9726 Gayton Road, Richmond, VA 23238

Join us with your infant in a space to meet & connect with other new parents and caregivers. This is a casual meet up -- but feel free to come with your questions, challenges, or joys of the past month to share with the group. Join us and know you aren’t alone for the peaks and valleys of new parenthood.

Led by Certified Postpartum Doulas, Katie & Maria, resources, encouraging words, and advice from experience (if you want it) will be offered along the way.

Our Meet Ups are free community groups to process the many journeys and experiences of parenthood. All meet ups are led by experienced facilitators to offer guidance for the conversation, to help navigate questions, and to provide resources when needed.

Registration is not necessary but signing up lets our facilitators know how many people to expect & means you’ll receive reminder emails.
